Ridley Scott contributed to Aliens : Colonial Marines, Gearbox shows

In the first of a series of diaries of development leading to the launch of the long-awaited Aliens: Colonial Marines game, Brian Martel, chief creative officer at a checkpoint, showed that the team met with extraterrestrials and the brainstorming of ideas directed by Ridley Scott with him.

"We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet with Ridley Scott," says Martel. "We talked about the possibility of making the game Blade Runner, but this is our conversation with him, and knew that we were interested in the foreign game".

Legendary British director known for such hits as Gladiator Oscar, then all its carved storyboards and notes from the original Alien, released in 1979.

"He was, after all, one by one, and was able to explain to us some of the background and the fact that we were able to include in the game. And only a valuable experience to meet him and have a perspective on what he had originally intended to to do with some of the foreigners. "

Aliens : Colonial Marines is a direct continuation of James Cameron's Aliens seminal 1986 film, which is itself a continuation of the classic Ridley Scott. You play as part of a military unit sent to the ruins of the colony on LV426 to figure out what went wrong. Needless to say, these acids are poured errors were not completely destroyed, and everything becomes ugly and vicious and frightening.

Aliens: Colonial Marines comes out in February next year for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, with a version of Wii U TBD. Until then, fans can look forward to Borderlands Gearbox 2 of 21 September for the same formats.
